What should I lookout for?

There are no rules in animation.

Nothing you can do is actually WRONG.

However there are certain things that artists do unintentionally that can weaken or alter the intention of the animation.

Most people can look at an animation and say "there's something wrong with it".

But they are unable to, or inaccurately, explain why.
Thats ok! :)

Many of these tips are initially invisible and take time to learn how to see.
Don't worry about making these "mistakes".
These things happen naturally on the first few passes.
The trick is to learn how to identify them after the fact and clean them out.

Can I use any of these on purpose?

Yes!

Keep in mind that the opposite is always true.

All of these examples can be used intentionally to create a desired effect.
